Forest Hills’ quality physical education program focuses on each student’s optimum physical, mental, emotional and social development through activities that all students can enjoy and pursue into adulthood. Through engaging and inclusive opportunities, students develop a kinesthetic awareness, learn about physical activities available to them, improve fitness and motion abilities, increase their athletic skills and learn to respect, play and work with others who have different opinions, beliefs and skill sets. As students engage in physical activities, they learn to interact with others in a positive and successful manner, which in turn builds individual confidence and self-esteem.
