Preschool Applications and Kindergarten Registration Now Open for 2024-2025

Forest Hills School District is excited to welcome the newest group of students for the 2024-2025 school year!

Kindergarten Registration

Registration for Kindergarten and all other grades for the 2024-2025 school year began on January 22, 2024. Kindergarten offers both full-day and half-day options for families. The half-day options are available in either the morning or the afternoon. 

If you have a child or children currently attending the FHSD Preschool Program (or receiving Special Education Preschool Services) AND will be attending FHSD kindergarten next school year, you DO NOT need to complete New Student Registration in the Final Forms registration system. Instead, you will receive an email from Final Forms in the summer with instructions to update your child’s information for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Families wanting to register students who did not previously attend a school in FHSD, including preschool, can begin enrolling on our registration web page.

Preschool Applications

The FHSD Preschool Program begins accepting applications for Peer Model acceptance on Thursday, February 1, 2024. 

The preschool program, which is housed at Sherwood Elementary for all FHSD families, uses an online application and lottery system for Peer Model acceptance. Applications for the lottery are open from February 1 through February 25, 2024, and the drawing will take place on Monday, February 26, 2024. All families will be notified of the results by email. Once accepted, parents can begin registration procedures on the Final Forms registration system.
