Select projects move forward to participate in UC’s District Science Day. UC’s event will allow your child to compete to potentially qualify for State Science Day.

The Innovation Expo is open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade. It allows students to present interest-based projects incorporating arts, sciences and design thinking.

The 2023 Science Fair and Innovation Expo had 347 participating students and was fortunate to have 106 total judges who volunteered their time to provide feedback to students.

Congratulations to everyone who participated!

Forest Hills School District’s annual Science Fair and Innovation Expo was held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 and it provided students a chance to share their knowledge, curiosity and creativity with the whole community.

This event is generously funded by the Forest Hills Foundation for Education. FHSD is grateful for this strong and beneficial partnership that continues to benefit students year over year.

This year’s projects covered a wide variety of topics, touching on concepts like chemical reactions, biological responses and much more.

The Science Fair is open to students in grades 5-12 and offers a more formal opportunity to utilize the scientific process. Students select a question about a scientific topic they are curious about and want to investigate through experimentation. The FHSD Science Fair allows each student to showcase their science project and receive feedback from judges from around the Anderson Township community and beyond.
