March 11 Coronavirus Update

Mar 11, 2020

Forest Hills families,

It’s important to me to continue to provide updated information from the district regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). I know there are concerns in the community, and I want to assure you that we are taking every step possible to be prepared for any health-related emergency. At this time, there are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Hamilton County and school will continue as normal.

On Tuesday, administration met with principals district-wide to discuss the instructional protocols in place should the need for remote learning opportunities arise. Staff meetings took place in each school this morning to further discuss this topic. As we finalize our plans, we will share that information with all families. We are hopeful these plans are not needed, however, we are prepared.

We will continue to work closely with public health officials and we will follow the guidance set forth by Governor Mike DeWine as this situation develops.

As another reminder, if your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home from school and extracurricular activities.

We will continue to proactively communicate with you as we receive more information.

Respectfully,

Scot
