Forest Hills Marching Band Dazzles Audiences at Fall Performances
The Forest Hills Marching Band is once again entertaining audiences while also maintaining a very high level of music education, teamwork, leadership and many other valuable life lessons.
The show this year loosely tells the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and, for the first time ever, the full ensemble is in costumes for the entire performance. The group also has a live singer during the big ending. If Wonka had his own marching band in the movies, it is our belief that this is what it would look like.
This past weekend, the group attended the Loveland Competition with other bands from around the Cincinnati & Dayton area and was named the overall Champion. We congratulate the students, staff and parents on this outstanding accomplishment!
The group will be performing their competition show at halftime of the Anderson vs. Turpin football game on October 14. The Forest Hills Marching Band will also be attending the national championships in Indanapolis's Lucas Oil Stadium in November.
