FHSD High School Students Earn Governor’s Merit Scholarship
Twenty-seven students from Anderson and Turpin High Schools have been recognized for their hard work and academic achievements with the Governor’s Merit Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to the highest performing seniors whose dedication and accomplishments put them in the top 5% of their graduating class.
The scholarship provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance annually for full-time education at a public or private, nonprofit college or university in Ohio. It recognizes student achievement and encourages them to attend a postsecondary education institution in the state.
