FHSD earns Auditor of the State award
Excellence in financial record keeping and sound accounting practices have again earned Forest Hills School District the distinguished Auditor of State Award.
The Ohio auditor presents this award to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit. Entities that receive the award meet the criteria of a “clean” audit report including filing financial reports in a timely manner with the state auditor’s office. According to the auditor’s office, the report must be free of any “findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, single audit findings or questioned costs.”
“In addition to the district’s commitment to being good stewards of the public dollar, it is crucial to demonstrate clean and accurate record-keeping,” said Scot Prebles, superintendent. “I believe Forest Hills School District taxpayers can take pride in the district’s dedication to accountability.”
This award reflects the district\'s 2018-2019 audit.
