District to extend food service program through June

Apr 13, 2020

The Forest Hills School District food service program will provide boxed meals to students through the remainder of the academic year. Thanks to the generosity of the Forest Hills Foundation for Education, this program has been extended through the end of June.

Students/parents can pick-up lunches for the week on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Anderson High School. The district can also deliver lunches to families in need of assistance. Due to demand and to best meet the needs of families, there will no longer be pick-up available at THS or on Wednesdays.

Lunches must be ordered 24 hours in advance by completing the following the Food Service Lunch Form. If you are unable to access this form, please call 513-231-3215 to place your order.

FHSD is partnering with the Forest Hills Foundation for Education and other community organizations to provide Power Packs for families in need of shelf-stable food items. Families can request one bag per household, per week. Families interested in this option should order the Power Pack while placing their food order. If you would like to donate items for Power Packs, please contact Dee Stone, Forest Hills Foundation for Education executive director at dstone@fhfe.org.

If your job has been negatively impacted by the coronavirus safety measures, and you would like to apply for free/reduced meals for your child, please do so as soon as possible here.

Please contact John Eckert at johneckert@foresthills.edu with questions.
