District Statement on Political Advertisements

FHSD has learned that a political campaign advertisement was recently included in two separate programs for student extracurricular activities. This should not have occurred and, after being made aware, FHSD removed the ad prior to additional distribution of the programs.

To be clear, FHSD and its schools cannot and do not endorse any candidate for office. FHSD has taken additional steps to ensure all activity programs are carefully reviewed for compliance with Board Policy prior to being shared at events.
