In a new initiative spearheaded by elementary school administrators, all Forest Hills School District elementary buildings are participating in the Adopt-A-Roadway program. Elementary students, staff and families will help pick up litter and clean up several roads throughout the community through this new partnership.

This effort is meant to educate students about the importance of giving back to their community and also provides an additional opportunity for FHSD schools to continue building connections with the various neighborhoods they serve.

The schools held their first cleanup events on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 to kick off the Adopt-A-Roadway program. They will hold additional cleaning days throughout the school year as this initiative continues.
