Twenty-four Anderson students enrolled in a satellite program of Great Oaks Career Campuses have qualified for an international business competition! Business students from the Great Oaks/AHS Satellite DECA chapter have a tradition of performing well at the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference. This year, the tradition continued with 45 finalists competing for an international bid. Two dozen of those finalists qualified for the 2021 international competition which will be held virtually in April.

DECA is an organization for students enrolled in marketing, business, and finance education. The organization provides opportunities for students that a professional organization would offer a businessperson.

Awards are given to students placing in the top 10 on their test and/or role play. The top ten overall move on to the second round of competition.

We are so proud of our AHS/Great Oaks marketing, business, and finance students!
