Veteran Board of Education member Rich Neumann served two terms from 1998-2005 prior to his re-election in 2007 to a third term on the Forest Hills Board of Education. Neumann served as Board President in 2001 and 2005.

A graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, with an AB in History, Neumann received his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and Facility Management from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He also holds Superintendent Certification from the State of Ohio Department of Education.

Rich and his wife, Sue, a special education teacher in the Sycamore Community Schools, have four children, all of whom attended Forest Hills Schools and graduated from Anderson High School. Each is involved in working with youth including Stacey Neumann Bailey, a teacher and coach at Anderson High School, and Brian Ferry, Director of Youth Ministry at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church.

A successful private sector executive, entrepreneur and business owner, Neumann brings a unique blend of leadership experiences back to the Board of Education and the Forest Hills School District.
