Welcome to the Department of Student Services. We are pleased to provide you with information about the many components of a department that strives to promote intervention and support services for all students. These components also focus on the academic, social, emotional and behavioral growth and success for students.
Currently, the Forest Hills School District supports approximately 900 students who are eligible for receiving special education services from pre-school to age 22. Additionally, many students also receive supports within other areas of the department that may include 504 Accommodation Plans, intervention, counseling services, medical and behavioral planning, safety, attendance and discipline.
Below you will find a listing of the various areas as part of the Department of Student Services. A few, such as the Early Childhood Program, 504 Guidelines/Procedures and Special Education have already been developed within our web pages. Please click on the appropriate links in order to learn more. Over the upcoming months we are committed to working toward providing additional information for some of the other categories as well.
