The Forest Hills School District’s reputation for Excellence is well-known. Perhaps not as well-known are all the wonderful things that happen within the district on a daily basis. From innovative classroom projects that captivate the imagination of young people and inspire them to realize academic achievement to the individual student or teacher who, through a special project or initiative, make a difference in the world, there’s always something Excellent happening.

The district’s Communications Coordinator regularly writes about and issues news releases regarding the wonderful things happening in the district. The coordinator also responds to media requests for information and, at times, coordinates interview opportunities. In order to minimize disruptions to our educational program, we ask that all media requests for information come first to the Communications office, 231-3600 ext. 2966.

In addition to news releases, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the District’s section of the Website, the development and/or creation of publications, will assist the community/media by gathering and providing requested information or, in some cases, coordinating a contact with the appropriate person depending on the request.
